Paranormal and horror fans alike, it is nearly our season to shine! Let’s be honest here, as soon as the clock hits midnight on July 5th, it’s officially spooky season. We are just weeks away from September, and the countdown is on! Speaking of countdowns, here are some events you spooks may enjoy as the night starts to creep in earlier and earlier. Kentucky Horror-Fest, September 21st Taking place at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Frankfort and features special guests such as Tony Moran (Halloween), James Stokes (Vorhees Night of The Beast), and Tom McLaughlin (director of Friday the 13th part VI), to name a few! There will be cosplay contests, a horror movie room, vendors, ghost stories, and maybe even a séances or two. Adult admission is $20 and kids 11 and under are free with an adult.

The event will feature a variety of horror-themed activities, including a haunted house, a costume contest, and a live performance by a local band. Attendees can expect to encounter a range of terrifying experiences, from jump scares to psychological thrills.

The event is called “The Paranormal Investigators: A Night of Mystery and Science.” It’s a unique opportunity for people to learn about the paranormal from experts. The event features a variety of activities, including a lecture by Dr. John Smith, a renowned paranormal researcher. Dr. Smith will discuss his latest findings on ghostly phenomena and how science can explain them. The event also includes a hands-on workshop led by Greg Newkirk, where participants can learn how to use specialized equipment to detect paranormal activity. This workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced investigators. Greg will demonstrate the use of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recorders, which capture audio that may be attributed to paranormal sources.

Greg and Dana, seasoned storytellers with a penchant for the macabre, are set to take you on a thrilling journey through the realms of the supernatural and the horrific. Their upcoming event promises to be an unforgettable experience, as they delve into the chilling tales of the Amityville Horror House, The Dybbuk Box, and the infamous Catskill Crone’s Curse. The Amityville Horror House, a tale that has haunted the public consciousness for decades, is a story of a family’s terrifying encounter with malevolent forces within their own home.

The event, which is set to run from 10am to 4pm, will feature a variety of haunted attractions, including a haunted house, a haunted hayride, and a haunted maze. The haunted house, which is a popular attraction at many haunted events, will feature a series of creepy rooms filled with jump scares, ghostly apparitions, and eerie sounds. Attendees can expect to be scared out of their wits as they navigate through the twists and turns of the house. The haunted hayride, another staple of haunted events, will take riders on a spooky journey through the countryside.
